Dental Caries

A condition in which the tooth gradually dissolves and forms cavities due to acid produced by bacteria in the mouth.

Also known as tooth decay, it causes almost no symptoms in the early stages but becomes sensitive and painful as it progresses. Once it deepens, root canal treatment may be required, so early treatment is important.
