FULL-ARCH IMPLANT

Full-arch Implant

FULL-ARCH IMPLANT

What is a full-arch implant?

A treatment that restores the teeth of an entire upper or lower jaw with a fixed prosthesis supported by a small number of implants, for those who have lost most of their teeth or whose remaining teeth are difficult to save.

  1. One entire jaw“Full-arch” means the whole upper or lower jaw.
  2. A few implantsRather than one per tooth, several implants go in at positions planned for your jawbone.
  3. One connected prosthesisA single-piece prosthesis is fixed on top. You do not take it out.

The number and position of implants and the prosthetic material are planned individually from bone quantity and quality, chewing force and general health.

A long bridge doesn't need a pillar every few steps. A few piers on solid ground carry the whole deck.

A long bridge doesn't need a pillar every few steps. A few piers on solid ground carry the whole deck.

Even when most teeth are missing, an implant is not needed in every gap. A few implants are placed where the bone is sufficient, and one connected prosthesis is fixed on top. Fewer implants are needed, and unlike a removable denture it does not move in the mouth. How many and where depends on the condition of your jawbone.

COMPARE

How is it different from a denture?

Conventional denture

  • SupportRests on the gums
  • RemovalYou take it out and put it back
  • In the mouthCan move once it loosens

CHECK

Is it right for me?

Recommended for

  • All or most teeth in the upper or lower jaw are missing
  • Remaining teeth are mobile or have a poor prognosis and need extraction
  • An existing denture is loose or hard to use due to discomfort or pain
  • You want to restore chewing with a fixed prosthesis

What we check first

  • Significant jawbone resorptionWe combine a bone graft, or adjust the placement position and angle to use the remaining bone.
  • Hypertension, diabetes or other conditionsWe check your medication and how well it is controlled, and consult your physician if needed.

※ We decide the timing and method after these checks.

WHY MEGAPLANT

Planning accuracy
decides the result

The implants must line up with one another for the prosthesis to be stable. These are the four things we take care of from the planning stage.

A clinical space equipped with 3D CT and digital equipment

01

3D planning in advance

Placement positions are designed in advance from 3D CT and intraoral scan data.

3D CT · intraoral scan

02

Navigation-guided placement

Our principle is to place implants at the planned positions using the designed guide.

Navigation-guided Implant

03

Same-day temporary teeth

Where conditions allow, a temporary prosthesis is connected on the day of placement.

One-day Digital Treatment

04

If it fails, we place it again

If an implant does not integrate or a problem arises, we find the cause and re-place it.

Fewer than 10 re-placements a year

Same-day temporaries depend on bone condition and initial stability, and re-placement terms on your individual condition; we explain both at the consultation.

PROCESS

Treatment process

1
Detailed diagnosis

We assess the jawbone and general health through 3D CT, intraoral scanning and a medical history interview.

2
Digital planning

The number, position and angle of the implants are planned together with the form of the final prosthesis.

3
Placement

The implants are placed as planned using a guide. Patients with significant anxiety may choose Conscious Sedation.

4
Temporary prosthesis

Where conditions allow, a temporary prosthesis is connected the same day so that eating and daily life can continue.

5
Final prosthesis

Once the bone and implants have stabilised, the final prosthesis is fabricated and fitted.

6
Regular care

The prosthetic screws and the condition of the gums are checked periodically.

Full-arch Implant Consultation

After reviewing your CT and oral condition, we provide individual guidance on the number of implants, the prosthetic approach and the timeframe.
