Root Canal Treatment
A treatment that removes infected or damaged pulp (nerve) and then disinfects and fills the root canal.
When a cavity deepens and inflammation spreads to the pulp, the pain becomes severe. The infected pulp is removed, the root canal is thoroughly disinfected, and then sealed with filling material. After treatment, a crown is often placed to protect the weakened tooth.
